Shipping & Delivery

Patch Cords Online offers next day shipping on our in stock products, but if your next day delivery is of vital importance please place your order and contact us using the contact form on the Contact Us page with your order number and any other special comments and we will attend to your order as a matter of urgency. If for any reason we are unable to delivery your order for the next day we will contact you immediately.

We will ship the same day as long as that order is placed before 1pm PST/4pm EST. Certain items may not be available for immediate shipment, these types of items include server enclosures and other large items, in these cases the product may need to be assembled or fabricated. Typically those types of products will ship between 1 to 3 business days.

Large and Bulky Orders

We can provide the quantities you need! If you need to place a large order with us please email sales@patchcordsonline.com or call 214-666-8060 with your requirements and we will give you a quote for your order along with an accurate shipping/freight quote, please see the "How Freight Works" section below.

International

Patch Cords Online does not ship outside of the United States, nor accept orders from outside of the United States.

Refunds for Shipping Charges

We cannot refund any shipping charges, either for the original order or for returning the goods to us. The ONLY time shipping charges will be refunded is if the item being returned due to it being defective AND it was the only item in the order. If there are other items in the order that you are keeping we cannot issue a refund on shipping charges.

Patch Cords Online is not liable for any packages that the customer is returning that are lost or damaged. It is important that any goods that are returned are done so via a traceable and insurable shipping service.

How Freight Works

Some of the products on the store are large and heavy, making them far too big to be shipped by UPS. When a product has to be shipped by freight the first line of the product description will indicate that the product is a freight only item. Unlike UPS eligible products, it is not possible for the stores shipping calculator to be able to produce an accurate shipping cost.

To make sure that you get the best price and service we need to calculate the freight cost manually, here is how the process works:

  • Choose the product you require, making sure that you choose your delivery type (residential or commercial) and whether you will require a truck with a liftgate.
  • Once you have made your destination choice, place your product(s) in the shopping cart and pay for them with the payment method of your choosing. If you have any further delivery instructions please note them in the “Customer Notes” field in the cart, if you want us to contact you via phone please make sure that you include your number on the payment page.
  • As soon as receive your order we will obtain the best freight quote for you. Once we have the quote we will contact you via phone or email.
  • The product will be shipped when the freight charges have been paid for.

Note: When freight charges have been received we will engage the freight company and arrange the shipment, depending on the time of day and other circumstances the freight company may not be able to pick up the consignment for 24 to 48 hours. We will always endeavor to ship your order as soon as practicably possible.

What is the Freight Company Responsible For?

With all freight deliveries the freight company is only responsible to perform a "curbside" delivery. If you have a need to have the product taken into a structure please mention this at the time of the order, then we will be able to quote the correct price for your delivery.

Residential vs. Commercial

A freight delivery to a residential address is more expensive than to a commercial property, this can be by as much as $100 or more! If you can have the products delivered to a commercial address, please do so, it will be much cheaper.

If you have indicated that your address is commercial, but turns out to be residential, we will invoice you separately for the difference.
