This cable's eight conductors (4-Pairs) are stranded copper with polyethylene (PE) insulation. These four twisted pairs are individually foil shielded(U/FTP). Additionally, this cable has a tinned copper drain to prevent signal loss, cross-talk, and other performance issues.

Stranded copper cables are ideal for making custom-length patch cords.
